About me

I’m Joaquim Coelho, a filmmaker, video editor, and photographer. I work on personal projects, mainly short films, small documentaries, and visual pieces that I produce on my own. Most of my experience comes from doing the work itself: writing, filming, editing, and testing ideas until they take a form that makes sense to me.

Over time, I’ve developed several projects in parallel, each with different scales and goals. My work involves creating images, building sequences, and giving structure to stories—whether in fiction, documentary, or more experimental formats. Much of what I do starts from personal initiatives and the desire to make ideas exist.

I’m currently expanding my portfolio and working on new projects. I’m open to collaborations in video, photography, and filmmaking.
